The “HOME BAKE” logo is the registered trademark of Home Bake Products (Pte) Ltd. Established in early 1995 by a culinary expert whose hobby was the preparation of choice food. These preparations were served to her circle of friends, who in turn inspired her to put up small quantities of her signature food items up for sale.

HOME BAKE was the pioneer in introducing Puff Pastry – their first product in the market. Only choice ingredients are used, and it is suitable for vegetarians since no animal fat is incorporated. Their products are supplied to all retail marketers across Sri Lanka, with occasions when their products have also reached the Maldives and India. Today, the company is proud to count over two decades of sharing wholesome culinary creations prepared with the goodness of a home-cooked meal and the homely values of honesty, trust and integrity.

 

Sausage Rolls: This delicacy is very much in demand, and is popular at parties. Chicken sausage meat is enwrapped in a scrumptious mouth-watering pastry – which when baked, is hard to resist. When eaten warm, the sausage roll melts in your mouth.

Croissants: The ideal breakfast meal. Croissants can be slit and eaten with wedge of cheese inside it, or wrapped with some bacon or ham. Just toss it in a hot oven for a few minutes and an exotic meal is yours to enjoy.  If you have a sweet tooth, you can also enjoy the croissant with some jam of your choice.

Vol Au Vents: A French delicacy stuffed with your favorite filling – which could be cheese, shrimps, mushrooms or even something sweet.

Fish Patties: A mixture of canned mackerel with local spices is cooked and filled. It is ideal as a snack at tea time, and even as shorteats for school children. These can be baked or fried.

Waffles:  A French batter baked to a golden brown. Put in a toaster or oven to warm up for a few minutes, or longer for a crisp waffle. Depending on your taste, waffles blend very well with curry or jam, and as a dessert with a blob of your favorite ice cream.

Chocolate Croissants: Filled with chocolate, these croissants are best served after a few minutes in a hot oven.

Vegetable Patties: Similar to the fish patties, but with a vegetable filling consisting of potato, carrot, cabbage and spices. Baking is recommended, but these can be fried too.

Cinnamon Roll:  A delicacy that is irresistible with a cup of coffee. Warm up in an oven before use.

Short Crust Pastry:  Ideal for quiche, tarts and lining of pies. Short crust can be used to make both sweet and savoury tarts.

Tandoori Chicken Puffs:  A filling of chicken marinated with tandoori mix and enveloped in pastry. An ideal snack, or as a ‘bite’ with a drink.

Puff Pastry : Could be used to make pies, cream horns, puffs and rolls.

Spinach/Cheese and Tomato/Cheese Puff pastry Scrolls : These scrolls are ideal to be served as a tea time snack or to be included in a snack box.  The spinach scroll has freshly harvested spinach and cheddar cheese while the tomato scroll consists of tomato puree and grated Parmesan cheese.
